I am far too tired to try and think of anything creative to say/tell you about all of the things I saw while I was out wondering so I will just have to play catch up another time! To give you an idea of how much I saw today my Jawbone UP band said I walked 18.3 miles. Not sure if it’s accurate but it sure does feel like I walked that much. But besides that I did manage to take a selfie at The Louvre and get a great shot of The Eiffel Tower at night so I just wanted to share something!
Life is good.
Life is real.
Don’t forget it!
Paris has stolen my heart. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Even when a place is under construction here, it still looks beautiful.
and the gold accents are incredible.
Yesterday we walked around and went shopping (window shopping) in the most beautiful mall, ever! The ceiling was breath-taking, I couldn’t take my eyes off of it.
After a long day of shopping and wondering around for a bit, it was time for another night out in Paris with the girls! It started with us going into a bar just for one drink and then to bar hop to other places… but that definitely didn’t happen. We went to one bar and one bar only and it was the best time ever!
The next morning was rough but it was so worth it! We didn’t do much today… we ate and tried to recover. I was able to make it down to the water though and sight see a little on our walk. It doesn’t matter where you are in Paris, there is always something beautiful to look at.
I still can’t believe I am in PARIS… I got on a plane and actually came to Paris! I have always dreamed of coming and am so happy that things worked out for me to be here now! (Thanks Silvina)
My trip has been amazing so far. After a very stressful Wednesday and Thursday morning, I was able to hop on my plane, begin my journey, and slowly begin to take my mind off of things.
Here is my obligatory picture of the view from my plane…
This flight was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had flying. For the first time ever we boarded on time, landed 30 mins early, and the flight attendants were super nice/funny. The only negatives for this flight: the food was awful and the turbulence made me have a panic attack/I may of peed my pants a little.
But 7 hours and 30 mins later I finally landed in PARIS and got a second stamp in my passport. (mini dance break)
I got to Silvina’s and realized that the stairs in my apartment have met their match. A 45 pound suitcase and 112 steps up a stairwell that I could barely fit in was about happen.
But how can you be mad when you have a view like this:
After settling in and catching my breath for a second there was no time to waste… it was time to eat some good food and wonder the city for a little.
Also every door in Paris is absolutely amazing. #SoBeautiful
After we were done exploring it was time for more food:
which then led to drinks and meeting some of the greatest girls I have ever met… an instant friendship was built!!
My first night in Paris was absolutely amazing and I have them all to thank! I can’t wait to see what else this trip has in store for me.
I am beyond happy and very grateful for everything. If you ever get the chance to do so, come to Paris or actually, just travel. Travel anywhere and experience what this world has to offer. Soak it in and be thankful for everything.
Au revoir… for now! <3
